Mt Seymour Mountain Cleanup - June 22
The Vancouver chapter of the Surfrider Foundation are doing their annual cleanup of Mt Seymour on Saturday, June 22, at 11am and they would love your help.
This is always a fun day and this year they'll be hosting a BBQ at the top after the event.

Mt Seymour Summer Youth Leadership Program
Mt Seymour Summer Youth Leadership Program is a boots-on, hands-on, outdoor awareness and skills development camp experience for 12-15 year olds.
This program is fun and experiential, connecting youth to the mountain environment through informed outdoor recreation. Wilderness and primitive skills learned will include backcountry safety, ethics and planning, navigation, wildlife identification and tracking, plant identification and uses, shelter construction, fire utilization and cooking, trail building and tool making. These skills will be put into action the last night of the program, with an overnight camping experience on Mt Seymour!
Our Instructors are highly experienced, focused on safety and dedicated to your child getting the most possible out of this wilderness experience.
We introduce daily survival skills, as well as themes including Awareness and Hazards, Wildlife and Tracking, Plants and Group Management, Community and Ecology, Overnight Odyssey, and Trees and Survival!

Shuttle Bus Service:
Mt Seymour is offering a shuttle bus service with pickups and drop offs from Lonsdale Quay, Canadian Superstore, and Parkgate Community Centre.

Camp Schedule:
Daily camp operation will be 9:00 to 4:00 pm, Monday-Wednesday
Thursday night will be our Overnight Odyssey, an overnight camping experience with meals and some equipment provided. Camp will conclude Friday at 4:00 pm.

Mt Seymour Summer Eco-Adventure Camps
Registration is now open for Mt Seymour's Eco-Adventure Camps!
Mt Seymour Eco-Adventure Camp offers experiential summer programs for kids that incorporate fun, education, self-awareness, skill development, and meaningful connections to nature and the environment. Programs take place on the top of Mt Seymour – the perfect place for the ultimate nature experience!
Our programs are unique. We strive to build a community of healthy, responsible, and caring children through our thoughtful and intentional programming. Rooted in the cultural and environmental practices local to our mountain, campers gain a strong sense of place, appreciation for, and sense of belonging in the natural world.
We make a difference. Our caring and resourceful instructors create a safe and nurturing space to for children to learn about the value of nature through cultural awareness activities, wilderness safety and primitive survival skills, plant identification, animal tracking, and environmental responsibility. All of this contributes to the personal growth and awareness of our campers.
Programs begin July 8th. We introduce daily themes such as Awareness & Hazards, Plants, Animals and Tracking, Local Culture and History, Navigation & Shelters, and our Seymour Survival Challenge.
Programs are offered for children ages 5-12. Each group is divided into smaller groups as follows: Forest Guardians (5-8) | Mountain Rangers (9-12)
