How did you get into snowboarding?
My parents put me in skiing lessons when I was little and then when I got older my dad taught me and my sister how to snowboard.
What is your most memorable snowboarding experience?
Traveling is a pretty memorable part of snowboarding. I've gotten to go to a bunch of different places (Around BC, California, Halifax, Calgary...) and have met a lot of cool people.
Describe your riding style. How do you approach freestyle riding and different terrain and features?
I guess my riding style really depends on what I'm riding. I love natural terrain as well as park features and always like to mix it up.
Any specific plans or goals for the season? Are you working on specific tricks?
I want to go on some trips this year for sure. I also want to hit more jumps and get better at spinning all directions (switch as well).
What’s your favourite trick of all time and why?
Method. 'Cause they're sick and you can do them off almost anything.
What’s your favourite snowboard film and why?
I really like Flavour Country. It's one of the first snowboard movies I ever owned and a lot of it is filmed around Vancouver/Seymour.
Who do you look to for inspiration?
My friends, people I see riding around and pro women snowboarders (Marie-France Roy, Jessica Kimura...)
Who do you like to ride with?
I really like to ride with my sister and my friends but I'll ride with anyone as long as they're having a good time.
When you’re not on the snow, where can we find you?
Taking my dogs for walks, working, going to concerts or travelling.
Any interests outside of skiing or snowboarding?
Music, photos, my friends and anything outside (hiking, wakesurfing, skimboarding, biking...)
Last words?
Save the wave!
