Summer at Mt Seymour

The Mt Seymour Eco-Adventure Camp is an experiential summer camp that engages kids in nature education, cultural awareness, wilderness survival skills, and personal growth. The camp is held on the top of Mt Seymour, an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver.

Beginning July 9, the camp includes daily themes that include Awareness & Hazards, Mammals and Tracking, Mountain Mystery & History, Navigation & Shelters, and a Seymour Survival Challenge.

4 different camp dates are available:

Camp 1: July 9-13

Camp 2: July 23-27

Camp 3: August 13-17

Camp 4: August 20-24

Campers are split into groups according to age as follows;

Jr Camp for 5-8 year olds

Sr Camp for 9-12 year olds

Jr Camp 1: FULL

12:30pm - 1:30pm      Outdoors: Survival Skill of the Day
1:30pm - 1:45pm        Outdoors: Games
1:45pm - 2:00pm        Snack
2:00pm - 3:30pm        Outdoors: Skills Continued
3:30pm - 4:00pm        Journaling & Wrap Up

Cost:

A special early bird offer is now in effect! Book your full week of camp before May 31st and pay only $190 plus HST.

After May 31st, regular rates will apply of $220 for the week.

A shuttle bus is available for transport up and down the mountain road. The shuttle picks up from Lonsdale Quay, Canadian Superstore North Vancouver, and Parkgate Community Centre. 

$6 per day | $30 per week from Parkgate Community Centre. 8:45am pick up | 4:15pm drop off

$8 per day | $40 per week from Canadian Superstore. 8:30am pick up | 4:30pm drop off

$8 per day | $40 per week from Lonsdale Quay. 8:15am pick up | 4:45pm drop off

Age Range:

5 - 12

Full payment required upon booking.

Cancellation Policy:  Full refund if notice of cancellation received 30 days prior, less $25 admin fee.

Parents to provide lunch and healthy snacks.
