Snowshoe at Mt Seymour

We welcome you to experience the magic of winter on our Discovery Snowshoe Trails! Named the #1 Resort for snowshoeing in North America by Snowshoe Magazine, Mt Seymour offers self guided trails and tours to first time snowshoers, training athletes and guests looking for a peaceful and scenic hike. Our trails are exclusively for snowshoers, offering a place of beauty and solitude within our vast trail system. Highlights of our trail system include scenic lakes, old growth forests and undulating trails.

Mt Seymour staff provide the following services to our guests:
Trail updates, direction signs, markers and maintenance
Weather and avalanche conditions (posted in the Snowshoe Adventure Centre)
Trail directions, maps, recommendations and natural history information

Our trails are meant for all experience levels.

For the beginner: Gentle trail options, regularly maintained and well-marked trails with trail maps at every junction.
For the athlete: Many loop options with varying difficulty levels, perfect for hill training and sprints. Our trails offer fitness training options like no other!
For the nature-lover: Scenic lakes, towering trees, and plenty of animal tracks after a fresh snowfall.

We also offer guided tours for individuals, groups, and schools, providing snowshoe programs suitable for everyone!

All snowshoe programs, unless otherwise noted, meet and depart from the Snowshoe Adventure Centre located in the main resort parking lot beside the Alpine Activity Centre. These include drop-in and pre-registered options.
