This season Mt Seymour will be delivering an exciting range of programs. Whether it’s your first time on snow, you’re returning from a few years off, or you simply want to reach that next level, we have a program for you.

New for the 2011-2012 winter season, Mt Seymour's covered Magic Carpet makes learning safer and easier than ever!

Our Programs

All Lesson Camps are now open for registration. Follow the links below to register on-line or give us a call at 604-986-2261.

Single Day Lessons – Discover Lessons offer you the best introduction to skiing or snowboarding at a great value. Do you want to refine your skills and explore Mt Seymour? Check out the Next Step Lesson. For those who want a more personal touch, we offer Private Lessons and specialized Tot Private Lessons.

Mt Seymour Progression Team - This season-long program is for dedicated skiers and riders who really want to make the jump to that next level. It combines park and freeride skills with expert coaching.  Check out the fun we had last season here.

Multi-day Kids Lessons – Our kids and youth programs are renowned for creating lifetime slope lovers. The Bear Cubs and Mountain Riders are hands down our most popular programs. Early registration is encouraged.

Multi-day Adult Lessons – A great way to get out of the rat race and into winter fun! New this winter, Adult Ride Clinics are a great introduction to Mt Seymour and the ideal way to hone your skills. Our Momma and Papa Bears program is perfect for parents who want to stay a step ahead of their little ones.

About the Mt Seymour Ski and Snowboard School

Our mission is to provide vibrant, positive and safe mountain experiences by offering progressive instruction, innovative programs and exceptional customer service.

Safety – Fun – Learning: These are the building blocks of every lesson taught by the Mt Seymour Ski and Snowboard School. Our professionally certified instructors are passionate about sharing their expertise and providing an unparalleled mountain experience.

Mt Seymour is the Lower Mainland’s starting gate to winter fun. Our school is proud to offer lessons and instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether it’s your child’s first time on snow or if you’re training to become an instructor, we are excited to welcome you to Mt Seymour.

The first lessons were taught on Mt Seymour in the 1940’s. Since then, Mt Seymour has been the choice of thousands of locals and tourists who want to learn. The present school was created in 1984 when all mountain operations were amalgamated into Mt Seymour Resorts. Ask any Vancouver residents where they learned to ski or snowboard as a child and most will say ‘Mt Seymour!’
