Mt Seymour is currently recruiting for a full time year round Maintenance Manager to join our Operations Department.

This position is responsible for overseeing the direct repair and maintenance of all aspects of our lifts, vehicles, buildings and electrical systems as well as overseeing all resort snow removal operations. This is a senior management position reporting to our Operations Manager.

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Full time or Part Time Ski Patroller to join our team for the balance of the season. Position commences immediately and would run until approximately mid-April.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Pro Patroller is responsible for patrolling the winter recreation area in order to maintain public and staff safety, other duties include assisting in areas of Mount Seymour Resort rescue and supporting effective risk management programs.

Temporary Ticket Checking/Lift Operators

Mt Seymour is currently recruiting for Temporary F/T or P/T Lift Operators / Ticket Checkers to join our team for the balance of the winter season. Positions would commence immediately and run until approximately mid-April.

Great opportunity to work at a Ski Resort for a few weeks and enjoy some spring skiing/snowboarding!

Duties include working outside operating our ski lift equipment and checking tickets. Previous experience not necessary as we are able to provide full training.

Line Cooks & Grillworks Cooks

We are currently seeking Full Time and Part Time line cooks and Grillworks Assistants to join our Seasonal Food & Beverage Team. The Food & Beverage Operation at Mt Seymour consists of a pub style restaurant, a large cafeteria style operation, a smaller satellite food service area and catering services. Positions commence in December and run until April depending on weather.

Some previous experience required for the line cook position, no previous experience required for the Grillworks Assistant Position as we can provide training.

 Mt Seymour is a winter recreation area located in North Vancouver.  We are currently recruiting for a full time Millwright to join our Mountain Operations Department.  Position is seasonal – commencing in November and running until May with the potential to become a permanent year round position.

 We are looking for someone at Journeyman level.

Traffic & Grounds Worker

We are currently hiring for full time and part time seasonal Traffic & Grounds Workers to join our team. Positions commence in November and run until approximately mid - April.

Duties involve directing traffic in our parking lots and on our mountain access road, patrolling the 13km access road, responding to traffic related situations at the resort and assisting with outdoor maintenance in the base area.

Shifts are early or late available seven days a week.

Mt Seymour requires volunteers to assist our professional instructors with our lesson programs for skiers and snowboarders ages 4-6.  Our programs operate throughout the day on weekends, and during the Christmas and Spring Break periods, and during the evenings on Mondays from January to March.
