Shred for the Cure, Ladies Ride Free *

Shred for the Cure, Ladies Ride Free is back this year for its 6th season. Starting January 9, 2012 untill March 12, 2012, every Monday night starting at 6pm ladies ride free.
Presented by Granville Island Brewing and in support of the BC Cancer Foundation, Shred for the Cure is a great night to come up with a group of friends, enjoy the slopes and have fun. Thank you to everyone who makes Monday night so special. With all your help and all your donations, we were able to raise over $55,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation over the past 5 years. Thank you for your supprt!
Ladies, pick up your vouchers from one of our participating retail partners (listed below) and redeem it at Guest Services for a free 6pm lift ticket. Make sure to donate when redeeming your voucher in Guest Services as all proceeds go to the BC Cancer Foundation and we are looking to break last year's total.
The Rock Chute Inn has great food and drink specials for everyone to enjoy. Make sure to stop by and get a seat for our Apres Ski prize draw starting at 9:00pm. We have plenty of prizes to be won from t-shirts to hoodies, hats, toques, goggles and much more!
Ladies, a voucher is required to receive a complimentary lift ticket. Be sure to pick up your voucher from one of our participating retail outlets to redeem in Guest Services for a free 6pm lift pass and have a great, fun night.

Romp to Stomp
March 3, 2012
Coming up this Saturday, March 3 is the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series.
Since its inception in 2003, the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series has engaged nearly 23 000 people in the sport of snowshoeing.
Snowshoers can participate in a 3k or 5k snowshoe walk or a 3k snowshoe race.

Greenhorn Games

Gnu Snowboards, Mt Seymour and Snowboy Productions are pleased to bring you the Greenhorn Games - The coolest 13 and under contest in the world!
Gnu Snowboards and Snowboy Productions are bringing this amazing event back for the 2nd year...and it's gonna be bananas! Join mini-shreds from all over British Columbia as they enjoy a day where they are the stars.
This event is BEYOND FREE and is open to snowboarders of all levels age 13 and under...the idea is to have a great day snowboarding, learning new tricks, meeting new friends and maybe getting some prizes along the way.
No entry fee, a free shirt for the first 50 to register from our friends at Snowboarder Magazine...and FREE lunch from Coastal Riders!

Based on a skateboard event that places 3 jib features in a row. Contestants will need to complete their best lines to move forward in the contest and win some great prizes.

Remember everyone that HELMETS are Mandatory for all events! Bring yours, borrow your friends or rent one in our Rental Department for a cheap event fee!
Waivers have to be signed by all participants. Anyone 19 years or younger has to have their waiver singed by their parent or guardian. You can get the waiver early and get is signed prior to the event at: http://www.mountseymour.com/waiver.
