Presented by Granville Island Brewing, Guys Night Out - Girls Ride FREE is back by popular demand for the 2009/10 season with lots of great prizing and specials for event participants!

Girls Ride Free every Monday night from 6pm starting January 11th, 2010 to March 15th, 2010. This great night supports breast cancer research at the BC Cancer Foundation and is an awesome social night to share with friends. Donations will be accepted at Guest Services and during Apres Ski Night in Elevations as all proceeds go directly to the BC Cancer Foundation. So don't forget to bring up your wallet!

Not only do girls get to ride for free, but we have plenty of draw prizes and food and drink specials in Elevations Restaurant starting at 8pm each Monday night.

So be sure to pick up your FREE lift voucher from one of our participating retail outlets and have a great, fun, free night at Mt Seymour.

The Yeti Snowshoe Series Race - World Snowshoe Invitational

World Snowshoe Invitational Vancouver-2010

On Saturday, Feb. 27, Mt. Seymour in North Vancouver BC Canada will see over 250 National and International athlete’s lace up there snowshoes for what promises to be the most competitive snowshoe race in the history of the sport in North America.

Japan, Spain, France, Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, New Zealand, USA and Kenya have all entered top athletes that will push hard for the World title. The Start line will be boasting, previous Olympic Athletes, National Champions, World Record Holders and World Champions. This includes 6 Time Mountain Running World Champion and 2 Time Olympian Jonathan Wyatt.

Top Canadian athletes are also training hard and will get a chance to show their stuff in the first  World Snowshoe Invitational on Mt. Seymour that will also double as The Canadian National Championships. 

The World Snowshoe Invitational will host a First Nations Ceremonial Start line performance while Olympic Athletes from the past looking on in support of this Snowshoe Celebration which  one day might be an Olympic sport.

Registration is open and all abilities are welcome to come out and participate. The 5km Sport course start time is 10:00am and the World Snowshoe Invitational / Canadian National Championships are scheduled for 12 noon. The World is invited and everyone is welcome.

Nike 6.0 Greatest Hits Park Presents Red Ledge

January 30, 2010

Nike 6.0's Greatest Hits Park at Mt Seymour is re-creating the Red Ledge for YOU!  This daunting monster near Quebec City has been sessioned by some of the best in the biz and now it's your turn.

On Saturday, January 30 in the Northlands Terrain Park, come and celebrate the re-creation of the Red Ledge.  The free jam session, open to all, goes down 11am-3pm and includes food, music, and 6.0 product giveaways.  Be sure to bring your bangers - 6.0 hired a professional photographer to snap pics of the session and riders with the best shots will win 6.0 product.


Registration is required and begins in the Nike 6.0 hut at 10am.  Everyone must sign a waiver.  Anyone under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.  Helmets are also required to participate in the jam session.
