We are currently seeking a journeyman millwright to join our lift maintenance team. This is a full time year round position and is responsible for carrying out all rountine and preventative maintenence on our ski lift equipment. Other duties include planning and organizing a preventative maintenence schedule, maintaining accurate record keeping systems and ensuring that manufacturer's guidelines and government regulations in respect to lift maintenance and repair are followed.
This position requires candidates to be able to work outside in all weather conditions, candidates should also be capable of working at heights on our lift towers. Since this position also calls for candidates to move around the resort to work on all our chair lifts, during the winter months this will require the operation of a snowmobile for which training will be provided.
Candidates must be a journeyman millwright, and ideally have previous Ski Industry experience. Candidates must be well organized, with strong time management skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision is also required.
Due to the location of our business candidates will require their own transportation.

We are currently seeking a full time year round experienced heavy duty mechanic to join our operations department. Candidates must possess an inter-provincial heavy duty mechanic journeyman's ticket and have strong trouble shooting and welding skills. Must be able to work independently.
This is a varied and interesting position, responsible for maintaining the resorts entire fleet of equipment including snow ploughs, loaders and snow cats. Previous experience with snow cats would be an asset.
Since this position is based on Mount Seymour, working out of our large, well equipped maintenance shop, candidates will require their own vehicle.
The position calls for rotating shifts over 5 days during the winter season with some requirement for overtime; during the rest of the year work can be spread over 4 days with a flexible schedule.

We are hiring for a full time year round park facility operator to commence March 1st and a seasonal PFO to commence April 1st.
Position is responsible for maintaining the park lands on Mt Seymour from the base of the mountain - all the way along the 13km road to the top of the mountain. Duties will involve lawnmowing, brush cutting, some trail maintenance activities, garbage removal, park regulation compliance activities and maintaining the parking, viewing and picnic areas.
Candidates should enjoy working outdoors with the public, have good communication skills, be familiar with BC Parks and have a valid bc driver's licence. Previous experience in a similar work environment would be an asset.

We are seeking a heavy equipment operator to assist with snow removal in the Base Area parking lots, workers need to operate in a safe and efficient manner in these public areas. Experience operating large loaders would be an asset.
Position is seasonal and would run until approximately April. Pay rate is negotiable.
