Instructor
The Mt Seymour Ski & Snowboard School is one of the most recognized and prestigious ski and snowboard schools in the region. Full and part time instructors are required with a minimum CASI level 1 or CSIA level 1 certification. Certification courses and professional development programs are also offered for existing instructors or for those interested in becoming one.
If you are a ski instructor who has not taught for a while, we can assist you with updating your certification and skills. Being a part time ski instructor with Mt Seymour is a great way to spend the winter season. It's rewarding, hours of work are very flexible, and we offer a range of benefits including free skiing!

You will be leading guided tours on snowshoes and sharing your knowledge and love of the outdoors with other enthusiasts and future outdoor lovers. You must enjoy speaking in public and ideally possess a valid first aid certificate, related education an asset.
The Mt Seymour Food & Beverage department prepares and serves delicious meals and snacks in the Elevation 1020m Restaurant and Grillworks Cafeteria. This department offers a variety of positions to suit a wide set of skills.

Bus Person
As the bus person you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of Elevations or Grillworks by clearing and cleaning tables.

Server
If you have previous serving experience and enjoy interacting with people in a high volume pub style restaurant, this is a great position for you. Must be 19 years of age or older and have a "Serving It Right" certificate.

Grillworks Cashier
A pleasant and friendly manner is required while you handle cash sales in Grillworks. Previous cash handling experience is an asset for this position.

Bartender
You will prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a high volume pub style restaurant and ensure guest satisfaction. You must be at least 19 years of age and have a "Serving It Right" certificate.

Cook
Your main responsibility will be preparing pub or cafeteria style food in a high volume, fast paced environment. You are able to work well under pressure and enjoy preparing quality meals for your guests. We accept applications from candidates with all levels of experience.
The Guest Services department is always busy ensuring that our guests' needs are met. These are indoor positions that may begin as early as September and involve many administrative functions.

Guest Services Representative
You must be able to deal with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Some of your duties will include processing season passes and answering guest inquiries. Strong telephone and personal communication skills are required.

Ticket Office Cashier
You will sell area passes and accurately account for daily transactions. Previous cash handling experience is required as well as a friendly, helpful, and outgoing attitude.

Call Centre Representative
You will handle incoming calls and answer general guest inquiries on a busy phone system. You will also be responsible for providing guests with lesson information and registering them into the appropriate Ski & Snowboard School Programs. You must have superior guest service skills as well as a professional phone manner. Call center experience is an asset.
This department is always hopping . . . equipping guests with skis, snowboards, snowshoes, clothing, snowskates, and more. All equipment rentals, technician work, and retail sales is done in this department.

Rentals Cashier
In this position you will handle high volume area pass and rental equipment sales in a quick and accurate manner while providing quality guest service. You must have previous cash handling experience and a good eye for detail, as you will also be responsible for completing rental forms.

Service Staff
This position performs a variety of tasks within the Rental Shop including boot fitting, guest hosting and operating the equipment check. You must enjoy assisting guests in a fast paced environment.

Rental Technician
You will perform technician duties on ski and/or snowboard bindings and assist guests with equipment setup. We provide training and certification courses. You must be 19 years of age or older before starting in order to be certified to tech bindings.
The Mountain Operations Department offers positions for those that enjoy working primarily outdoors with guests.

Base Radio Operator
You will be responsible for supporting efficient mountain communications through the use and monitoring of a VHF radio system and phone system. You must have clear and concise speaking skills, work well under pressure, and be able to multi-task.

Lift Operator
You will provide guests with friendly service as you assist them with loading and unloading Mt Seymour's lifts. Ski or snowboard skills are an asset and you must be able to work comfortably outdoors.

Patrol
You will be responsible for providing first aid assistance to guests, enforcing the Alpine Responsibility Code, and maintaining a safe area for everyone. Expert skiing or snowboarding skills are required as well as a valid First Aid certificate. Previous patrol (paid or volunteer) or first aid experience is an asset.

Snowplay Attendant
Your outgoing personality will be an asset as you operate the toboggan and tube park area in a safe manner. To excel at this position you must enjoy working with children and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Traffic & Grounds
In this position you will perform a variety of outdoor duties including snow shoveling, directing traffic, and maintaining the base area. You must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid BC Drivers License is required.

Building Services Attendant
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and washrooms and ensuring other related janitorial tasks are completed.

Terrain Park Attendant
If you are an advanced rider or skier, and are interested in the design, construction, and maintenance of terrain parks, then this could be a great job for you. You must be self-motivated, be able to work outdoors comfortably in all weather conditions, and enjoy working with and communicating with the public.
If you are enthusiastic, have a great attitude, love the outdoors, and can ski or snowboard there are volunteer opportunities available in our Ski & Snowboard School as mountain hosts.
Our volunteer program requires you to commit to a minimum of 70 hours on mountain work plus 8 hours training; this will entitle you to a complimentary seasons pass. To receive a family pass, couples or families must commit to a minimum of 90 hours on mountain work plus 8 hours training. Volunteers also receive other benefits, including uniforms.
