Lift Mechanic - Millwright
We are currently seeking a journeyman millwright to join our lift maintenance team. This is a full time year round position and is responsible for carrying out all rountine and preventative maintenence on our ski lift equipment. Other duties include planning and organizing a preventative maintenence schedule, maintaining accurate record keeping systems and ensuring that manufacturer's guidelines and government regulations in respect to lift maintenance and repair are followed.
This position requires candidates to be able to work outside in all weather conditions, candidates should also be capable of working at heights on our lift towers. This position also calls for candidates to move around the resort to work on all our chair lifts, during the winter months this will require the operation of a snowmobile for which training will be provided.
Candidates must be a journeyman millwright, and ideally have previous experience in the ski industry. Candidates must be well organized, with strong time management skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision is also required.
Due to the location of our business candidates will require their own transportation.

Summer Camp Instructors
Mt Seymour Eco-Adventure Summer Camp is hiring FOUR Summer Camp Instructors for our wilderness-based week-long and single-day camps. Our camps engage kids aged 5 to 12 in nature education, cultural awareness, wilderness survival skills, and personal growth.
Camp Instructors will work collaboratively to do the following:
Develop and refine age-appropriate summer program content.
Delivering daily programming.
Responsible for care, safety of, and injury prevention of campers.
Promote summer programs.
Develop props and supporting material/equipment.
Maintaining a positive camp environment.
Qualifications & Attributes (Required)
Familiarity with Mt Seymour summer hiking trails.
Knowledge of Mt Seymour flora and fauna.
Demonstrated group leadership skills in an outdoor (preferably wilderness) setting.
Knowledge of wilderness safety etiquette.
Experience working with children aged 5 to 12.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Current first aid certificate.
Commitment to environmental responsibility.
Flexible schedule.
Qualifications & Attributes (Desired)
Degree or Diploma in outdoor recreation or adventure tourism.
Degree in biology, forestry, environmental studies.
Formal interpretation experience.
Reliable transportation.
Class 4 drivers license.
Other
Employment duration from mid June - end of August.
40 hours per week.
Must be willing to complete a criminal record check.
